Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead character in various television dramas. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several significant national and international productions. These projects included British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
